A few lessons learnt about how one drives in Amman.

Lanes are a figment of the imagination.

Indicators don’t exist.

Honk your horn. A lot. Whether it is to say move, thank you or let me in.

Nobody understands the concept of roundabouts, even though the city was built in circular formations.

If you can see where you want to go, just back yourself , honk your horn, shake your hands and go for it.
