Boats. Bikinis. Bunnies.
Today we landed in the Krabi province of Thailand. I’m so glad we flew and didn’t get the train! Thumbs up for AirAsia.
We took the airport shuttle to our resort in Ao Nang. It’s a jungle lodgey-bungalowey type affair. Set amongst the limestone cliffs and greenery. It’s lovely. We have the cheapest option, it has an en suite and a fan. Good enough for us though. It’s tucked away out of the hustle and bustle of the town. It’s a bit of a farm, there’s sheep, chickens and bunnies wandering around the place. Hope the wildlife sleeps tonight, as I’m tired!
Then we headed to Ao Nang beach to get the Long Tail Boat to Railay West beach. Turquoise waters, white beaches and limestone cliffs backdrop. Perfect.
A couple of hours floating in the Andaman Sea with a rice filled pineapple for lunch. Standard. Although, I felt it was inappropriate for people to be sat in the restaurant in their bikinis, or is that how the cool kids roll these days?
Now we’re back in our bungalow contemplating dinner after an hour cooling off in the pool.
Tomorrow we catch the ferry to Koh Lanta.
